The Orthodox Male Choir of Joensuu was established in 1958. It has given concerts not only in its home town and native country but also abroad.

The repertoire of Joensuu Orthodox Male Choir consist mainly of works of Russian composers whom we already may consider as classics in their field, as well as concertos and music of the divine services. They represent genuinely the spirit of orthodox liturgy and have a place in the life of the Church.
